TERMS AND CONDITIONS (WEBSITE USE AND SUBSCRIPTION TO CLASSES, COURSES, AND EVENTS)

The website www.bbodywellness.com (hereinafter, the site) is owned by Sofia Bichão, Unipessoal, Lda., a single-member limited liability company, with headquarters at Praça Capitães de Abril, n.º 10, 11C, 2805-111 Almada, VAT number 516404849, and email address hello@bbodybarre.com. The registered trademark operating the services is BBody Barre Academy (hereinafter, BBODY BARRE).

The use of the site, as well as the subscription to classes, courses, and registration for retreats, implies the full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.

1. CONTENT AND PROPERTY PROTECTION

Website content is understood as all existing information therein, including but not limited to text, images, video, design, teaching methods, and programming code. All this content is the property of BBODY BARRE and is protected by copyright under Portuguese and European Union law. The intellectual property rights of all content belong to BBODY BARRE. Misuse or unauthorized use will result in the civil and/or criminal liability of the offender.

2. ACCESS PROCEDURE AND REGISTRATION

The purchase of any service requires user registration. By registering, the user declares to be over 18 years of age. Registration is personal and non-transferable, and the user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access data. Any misuse of the personal account must be reported to hello@bbodybarre.com.

3. DIGITAL STUDIO AND ONLINE SUBSCRIPTIONS

• TRIAL PERIOD: The BBody Digital Studio offers a 3-day free trial for new users. If there is no cancellation within this period, the paid subscription will be automatically activated.

• RENEWAL AND CANCELLATION: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled by the user in their client area before the billing date. There is no loyalty period.

• RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL: The user acknowledges that by immediately accessing digital content, they consent to the loss of the right of withdrawal (refund), as the service consists of immediate digital supply.

4. BBODY BARRE ACADEMY (CERTIFICATIONS)

• TEACHER LICENCE: Comprised of an online course and assessment. Successful completion grants a diploma and the right to a free subscription to the Teachers Academy (for a period of 3 months to 1 year, depending on the campaign in effect).

• TEACHERS ACADEMY: A quarterly or annual subscription providing practical material for the trainees' personal practice and for teaching, being the only permitted material to be used for teaching the method.

• MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION: To keep the certification valid and active, the trainee must maintain an active subscription to the Teachers Academy. If they choose not to renew, they commit to not using the brands, choreographies, manuals, or materials belonging to BBODY BARRE.

5. RETREATS AND EXPERIENCES (NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL)

These conditions apply to International Retreats, Weekend Retreats, and 1-Day Retreats.

• PAYMENT DEADLINES: The total amount of the event must be fully paid up to 45 days before the start date.

• NON-COMPLIANCE: Failure to settle the full amount by the 45th day prior to departure results in the automatic cancellation of the reservation, with no right to a refund of amounts already paid.

• LAST-MINUTE RESERVATIONS: Reservations made less than 30 days before the event are subject to availability confirmation and the application of an urgency fee based on dynamic market rates.

• CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: BBODY BARRE does not issue full refunds after the reservation is confirmed. Requests due to serious health reasons will be analyzed upon presentation of official medical proof. The client may transfer their spot to another person by notifying the organization 15 days in advance.

6. DISCLAIMER AND HEALTH

By contracting any service, the client declares to be in good physical condition for exercise. Sofia Bichão Unipessoal Lda. is not responsible for injuries resulting from poor execution of exercises or the omission of pre-existing health conditions. The purchase of personal travel insurance is highly recommended.

7. IMAGE RIGHTS

During events and retreats, images (photo/video) may be captured for promotional purposes of the brand. If the client does not wish to be filmed or photographed, they must inform the organization in writing before the start of the event.

8. FINAL PROVISIONS

Portuguese Law applies to the interpretation and execution of these Terms and Conditions. BBODY BARRE is linked to the Electronic Complaints Book (www.livroreclamacoes.pt).
